Download the latest version unless your device is older or you have a specific reason to use an earlier release. Newer versions usually include bug fixes, new features, and better performance.
Downgrading can sometimes cause installation errors. If you run into issues, uninstall the current version first, then install the older APK.
Local projects are usually kept as long as you don't clear app data during install. It's still a good idea to back up important projects before switching versions.
